June 2025 Astrology Forecast: Planetary Ingresses, Lunations & Aspects

This is your June astrology overview. This first part is all about planetary ingresses. When planets move into new signs, shifting they way our thoughts and feelings shift, we and they create ripple effects. Buckle up because this month kicks off with some potent shifts.

Planetary Ingresses

June 6 – Venus Enters Taurus, Squares Pluto

Venus enters her home sign of Taurus, but right away, she squares Pluto. Expect shifts in relationships, power struggles, and secrets rising to the surface. This aspect brings intensity, especially around finances, indulgences, and control. Pluto doesn’t just influence, it dominates. So don’t be surprised if something you’ve been clinging to gets stripped away or transformed completely.

June 8 – Mercury Enters Cancer

With Mercury entering Cancer, our thoughts and words get more emotional, intuitive, and raw. People might start speaking more from the heart or reacting from it. But Mercury immediately squares both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. This can create confusion, emotional overwhelm, and miscommunications that turn into power plays. Expect delays, fuzzy logic, and deeply emotional conversations that feel hard to pin down.

June 9 – Jupiter Enters Cancer, Squares Saturn & Neptune

Jupiter moves into Cancer and immediately hits a square with Saturn and Neptune, completing the final square of a series that began back in late 2020. This is huge. Whatever themes came up in August or December 2024—expect them to hit a final crisis point and resolution now. Something has to change. Jupiter is attempting to expand and move forward, but Saturn is pushing back as hard as it can. Neptune adds confusion, idealism, or illusion to the mix. Expect emotional intensity and systemic upheaval, especially in governments, corporations, and societal structures.

June 17 – Mars Enters Virgo

Mars shifts from bold Leo into analytical Virgo. This can bring focus to health, food, and daily routines. The Virgo–Pisces axis speaks to healthcare systems, allowing us to see action or even tension in those areas. Mars here wants to fix things quickly. It will oppose the North Node and conjoin the South Node, meaning whatever Virgo rules in your chart is ripe for release. Past issues may resurface, particularly around health, habits, nutrition, and what needs to be released. Mars will help you do just that.

June 20 – Sun Enters Cancer (Solstice)

Happy Solstice! The Sun enters Cancer and squares both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. This can create tension between sovereignty and softness, as well as between authority and nurturing. Leaders and authority figures may feel torn between being assertive and compassionate if your birthday falls around now, on your happy solar return. It’s going to be a meaningful year.

June 26 – Mercury Enters Leo

When Mercury enters Leo, say goodbye to subtlety. Expect bold thoughts, dramatic storytelling, and people changing their minds publicly (and loudly). Mercury in Leo is the performer. This could be fun or exhausting—it depends on the crowd.

New & Full Moons

Full Moon in Sagittarius

This month kicks off with a Full Moon in Sagittarius, square the Nodes. We are at a cross-quarter point between eclipses, meaning this lunation activates themes from three to four months ago. What was seeded back then is now reaching a breaking point or manifestation. Big realizations, completions, or decisions may arrive, especially regarding the Libra–Aries eclipse axis.

New Moon in Cancer at 4°

The Cancer New Moon (with Jupiter nearby) is sextile Mars but squares both Neptune and Saturn. So, while there’s optimism and a sense of possibility, there’s also friction. Something emotional is being let go. Something deeply personal. New Moons aren’t just for planting seeds they’re for composting what’s dead. This lunation is an ending and a beginning, and it’s tangled in eclipse themes from this past spring.

Mercury’s Retrograde Shadow

On June 30, Mercury enters its retrograde shadow at 4° Leo. Pay close attention to what happens around this day. These themes will resurface in July when Mercury turns retrograde. This is the prelude, the setup, the foreshadowing—so don’t brush it off.

Key Aspects

This month is square-heavy. Expect tension, conflict, and opportunities for resolution, especially when planets move through Cancer and square Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Saturn may be in its fall, but these aspects still force accountability. Fire and water (Aries–Cancer) don’t mix easily. There’s friction here that pushes us to grow.

June 5 – Mercury Squares the Nodes

Conversations about process, order, and what needs to be released in the Virgo realm (where the South Node sits) come to a head. It’s about letting go of old systems to move toward something more emotionally attuned.

June 8 – Mercury Conjunct Jupiter at 29° Gemini

This is a decisive moment of insight and synthesis. Jupiter gets help from Mercury to see the whole picture before entering Cancer. Big ideas. Big connections. Don’t be surprised if clarity strikes like lightning.

June 15 – Mars in Leo Squares Uranus in Taurus at 28°

This is the final Mars–Uranus square in Taurus. At 28°, this is the end of something you’ve known needed to change for a while. There’s no fence-sitting. This is volatile, liberating, and possibly explosive. Let go or be dragged.

June 22 – Mars Sextile Jupiter (Virgo to Cancer)

A moment of support and flow. Mars brings practicality, and Jupiter brings vision. Together, they’re laying the groundwork for something long-term. Use this energy to take tangible steps toward your goals.

June 24 – Jupiter Kazemi the Sun at 3°22 Cancer

Pure magic. Jupiter at the heart of the Sun in early Cancer = major blessings. Expansion, optimism, and divine timing are in play. However, remember that Saturn and Neptune are still squaring up to this moment so that any new opportunities may require maturity and clarity.

June 27 – Mercury Trine Saturn (Leo–Aries)

This is one of those grounded, smart, “get sh*t done” transits. Great for leadership conversations, long-term planning, and serious creative projects. Even though Saturn is in its fall, this is a valuable moment of clarity and discipline.

June 29 – Mercury Opposes Pluto (Leo–Aquarius)

Things get intense. Secrets, power plays, and shadowy conversations emerge. But remember, Mercury is still trine Saturn, so there’s room for grounded constructive dialogue. But yeah, don’t be surprised if something gets exposed. This is a truth-bomb kind of moment.

Final Thoughts

June is a month of reckoning. With all the planetary shifts, cardinal squares, and nodal activations, we’re being directed to take aligned action while letting go of old patterns. The stories from late 2020 through the eclipses of this spring are culminating now. There’s a crisis, yes, but also clarity.

Watch the Cancer and Virgo areas of your chart, and track how these squares and sextiles shape your path. Something’s ending, and something else is calling.

Pay attention. You’ll feel it.
